It depends on which game exactly.....
International latency I find to be amazing on the backbone I'm currently on - Openweb Gold (DSL-Heaven backbone). I get 200ms compared to 300ms with any other ISP.
I don't play many local games but it fares well with those too.
Regardless of game, it depends on where the gaming server is. If you want to get involved with an active gaming community (local or international) then wireless cannot be your choice at all, that's to say if you want to ENJOY your online gaming experience
I was on a 384 line of redwill and it did well not great then i look at openweb gold acount for a 384 and had a test but was not great for downloading but that dint bother ne too much cause i dont download too much so now from tommorow im on a 1 mb web africa uncaped acount so i hope it will be better i play lol call of duty and sc 2 alot and most of them are not local
I used the DSL-Heaven accounts in December was on a 384k line, now i am on a 1024k line, The DSL-Heaven accounts are excellent much better then the telkom one account im on now although the speed does make a difference when playing. I noticed that when I play PS3 online if I play with a lot of SA ppl then I get full bars otherwise I get around 2-3 so it all depends on local or international
