BEST ISP (IRENE)

Good Morning Guys

SO my parents just moved into Southdowns estate in Irene and have been stuggling with fibre for a few weeks. FibreSuburb finally installed the ONT in the garage but now to get additional cabling and router and wifi system a 3rd party company want to charge them R 5500 which seems excessive.

1. I assume geting the cabling FibreSuburb box to the router is the clients problem ?
2. Are there any ISPs that cover this cost as my parents already paid for the instalattion of the ONT and now and additional installation seems excessive
3. Who is the best ISP in Irene as Cool Ideas was originally contacted but seems they have not been very willing to assist

I generally recommend Afrihost, regardless of area. Always had great service from them, despite my bitching about it some times.

From the ONT to to the router you need a single network cable, unless I'm missing something? Why not do the installation yourself?

Hi, apologies for the radio silence. I believe the team has assisted, we absorb up to R2700.00 of total costs. In this case it was R1750 base install + R2150 additional fibre fees.

So we covered R2700.00 of that.

I believe this has all been done and they are sorted?
