Hi

Can you recommend which ISP would be best on Vuma reach in the Eersterriver area ?
Main use will be IPTV , Youtube , Netflix and the odd few torrents no gaming as yet .
Should not have

FUP - As will be streaming mainly 4k and FHD
No trottleling and shaping on the IPTV protocol
Have aftersales support that actually answer the phone and reply to emails in your current lifespan

Moving away from Webafrica

List list I narrowed down to is

Cool Ideas
Afrihost

Others available are only
Home Connect
Vodacom

Websquad have some excellent aftersales support.

For Vuma reach = Afrihost

2 Reasons ?
whatsapp support or come visit afrinatic on my broadband for quick support
auto debits

Coolideas is pretty okay
No auto debit you pay manually via cool zone , im not a fan of it unfortunately

Payment methods is the least of my worries.

It's the aftersales services and the throttling and shaping that is my main gripes with the other IPS's with regards to IPTV and streaming. Inlaws are still struggling with Mweb regarding the throttling of IPTV during peak times the helpdesk is so slow and hopeless giving you copy and paste responses when you clearly provide them with all the info regarding my testing passing the buck to the consumer. Don't even try their call centre you waste a months worth off airtime listing to music.

This service is not for me it's for a family member who also ditched DSTV and wants to forfull their entertainment needs for the family.

We would probably perform best for IPTV :)

for After sales support you can blindly choose Afrihost or Coolidea's best in my opinion great support from either side

Thanks the cancellation with Webafrica has been put through . How long before the cut off should the signup be done as to allow enough time for the router to be delivered and the migration to the new ISP be completed to have as little down time as possible as she WFH and needs connectivity.

Reach setup uses the ONT as integrated router, switchover should be seamless.
