Hi guys, this is my first post in this section of the forum but I need some advice.
As some of you may know I plan on buying a ps3 in the couple of weeks but the price increase is starting to put me off. So i figured it may be wiser to invest the money into buying a laptop for my new business. Ive got a dekstop pc which is a Sahara that I baught way back in 2004 but its very slow and I cant multitask with it.

So my question to you knowledgable PC guys is can I get a good laptop with a budget of plus-minus R5000? Where would be the best place to buy it and what specs should I be looking at with that budget?

Thanks in advance

PC ZOne in durbz got good specials on notebooks...

core 2 duo 1.4ghz @ R6000. thats a good price

Would love to, but cost price is over R5500. :D

Pastel, office and a logo creater software package.
@postman
dont mean to bust your balls buddy, will see if i can get that extra R1000

Have you got a decent price for business cards?

Do you need to purchase something to make a logo?

Just trying to save you money dude.

I cant afford photoshop and that logo creater software costs R250. So its reasonable.
I must stil find a place that will do the business cards. I can design them myself but cant do the printing. Can you recommend any1 boodles? Preferably based in Kaapstad:)

I do know that business card prices can vary a heck of a lot, so shop around.

You could save that 250 rands and use the many free programs available.

Is the logo software for ongoing use, or just a once off?

Ongoing use. Its a worthwile purchase as it will save me alot of time. And its relatively cheap. Il shop around but the budget is getting tighter and tighter:(
