Best option for backing up an Iphone ?

I need to back up my iPhone 7.

Some guidance please; is it best to back up to PC, cloud or iTunes?

The simpler and faster, the better please.

iTunes backup *is* a PC backup and is faster than an iCloud backup 'cos you can use your USB cable.

You prefer your data local or in the cloud is the question you need to ask yourself.

No worries. If you've signed into your iCloud account on the phone, things like contacts, notes, reminders, bookmarks and such will sync in the cloud anyway.

This is why technology makes me want to cry sometimes.

My OS is Windows 10.

Trying to download iTunes. Getting an error.

This is the error message: Errors occurred during installation before Itunes could be configured. Your system has not been modified etc. etc.

Any ideas?

Seems simple except I have no such file in my directory.

I am trying TunesCare in your earlier link; will let you know if it works.

backup all photos using Google Photos (set to high quality for unlimited storage)
then backup as mentioned before to local PC.
then find where the backup is stored on your pc and put it onto an external drive/flash disk and keep it safe.
