Hey guys

I am a big fan of the Orange on-line store. I bought my current phone from them.
Just wanted to know if there are any other good online stores like Orange that ship to SA or are in SA, that may offer competitive pricing and wider variety of devices.

Thanks

I've heard they deliver here and are good phones backed by Lenovo. Anyone use them?

I haven't used zukmobile or zeekmobile, but if you're going for a brand that's not "well known", why import and have no local support? Xiaomi is excellent, with local support and reasonably priced. I'm using the Redmi Note 2 and before that used the Redmi 2 Pro, my brother uses a Mi 4 and we're happy with our phones. Read up reviews and opinions on this forum and other websites, everyone using Xiaomi only has good things to say about these phones. Seriously, they offer good quality phones and value for money.

I've bought Doogee phones locally and from China. Also Lenovo from China. Always worked well for me. They are a lot cheaper than branded phones you buy here. For half the price you get a similar or better spec phone. And like cheap sunglasses you will never loose them or break them. If they do go wrong it is after a year and you can just chuck the phone and get the "latest and greatest".

Speaking of Doogee I've seen them online but read somewhere that you cannot get 3G our networks. Can you please confirm 3G connectivity on Voadcom and MTN?

I am a Motorola user myself so I believe in the value of the lesser known brands. I have followed Xiaomi for awhile myself, am a fan of the Mi 4 except for the lack of memory card slot. Also they aren't the best at updates. But as far as value for money, Xiaomi is right up there.

When I can actually find a tower in my area that has 3G and is available, yes I can get on both. I think the confusion is when using dual SIMs. You can only have 3G on one SIM at a time as far as my experience goes. Also the band that 3G is on, i.e. MTN has 900 and 2100, and if that model can handle them.

I have just ordered my wife the X5 MaxPro and I'm about to replace my DG700 with the new T5, both of which have 4G.
