So overnight some theives decided to break into my dad's surgery again except this time the silly neighbour after having a quick looksy areound the place we think never re-armed the alarm and so the cops on patrol happen to notice after they had already broken into the dispensary etc
Long story short they took the -recently bought- PC and other stuff but ok.. only headache is getting new hardware again. So anyways we figured this time gonna get my dad a laptop/notebook rather and if possible move over his hdd contents as is to notebook such that he is back running again.(he had a removable bracket)

Also where is the best place cost wise to get it from. He does not need the latest and greatest thing just something decent to run a lot of applications on i remember database stuff etc.
