I've recently started to get interested in crypto so I invested some money into bitcoin in Luno however the more I research crypto the more interested in getting into altcoins which are not available on luno. So I was wondering what's the next best SA alternative that allows you to buy bitcoin and has a lot more altcoins available to trade?

My first go-to would have been coinbase because I like all the useful stats they provide but then realized I cannot purchase crypto on there I guess it does not fully support SA yet.

I know I just want a platform that will allow me to purchase crypto and trade in one spot.

The two platforms I looked into were exodus and coinbase which both don't allow me to purchase crypto.

Binance. You could always purchase XRP on Luno, transfer to binace and then convert. Lowest gas fees.

Binance has it all. Bybit is cool and funky, PrimeXBT allows both crypto and forex, and Poloniex is ancient but still standing. Bitstamp is the grandaddy in terms of historic data on all major coins so there's that. Spoilt for choice. Easiest way is binance though.

so binance accept sa credit cards?

i'd rather deal with my bank's fx rate than luno's

they do but its a foreign currency purchase even though it appears to be in zar it is not
yes that is what i am saying.

i would rather buy directly in dollars and let my bank do the fx conversion.
