Hi guys

I'm looking to get a new ISP (for the times my TelkomADSL is capped) So it must be something prepaid and I must be able to buy the data online with my credit card AND it must be activated immediately.

Not Axxess please.

I signed up for one of these accounts with Nexus and I experience disconnections every 16 minutes. My DSL line is fine as my other DSL accounts I use on it concurrently stay connected. Only the Custom DSL account has this problem. Does anybody else experience this as well?

Hi Mystic007,

After going through some of the recent support tickets, to determine if this was logged, I could only find one instance in the past week where a ticket was raised for this type of issue and thus I will assume you are the same person.

We can definitely see that your ADSL service had indeed experienced 4 disconnections shortly after your first connection attempt on the 25th of May during a the window of 18:44 and 19:48.

It was investigated by one of our technical staff, Tharun who responded to your ticket 15 min after receipt and he determined that these disconnection requests did not originate from our Radius, which was explained in the support ticket response.

Whilst monitoring your service subsequent to the ticket it is noted that since the last connection, which was made at 2009-05-25 19:48:05, the service has not been disconnected once and is currently actively utilizing bandwidth.

Axxess prepaid bandwidth lasts 12 months (the prepaid SAIX account; not sure if 626 also carries over till 12 months)--which other company does the same? And you can buy online with CC and start using immediately. You can control and lock usage to your one location.
