Best price for windscreen replacement???

Hi all,

I have to replace my Windscreen, wheres the cheapest place to have it done?

I have a honda civic, 1997 model. I got a quote for R1199 from Hour Auto Glass.

I've got this arrangement with my insurance:
-get a quote from glass guys
-the quote is cash, ie. no insurance
-then go to my insurance and negotiate to them that i would pay the full amt
-insurance then refunds me the full amount less the excess (generally R250)

if you go the normal insurance route, the excess is potentially higher.

seems to work well with me, and saves me quite a decent sum...
