256/512 Classic (not Flexi) with a 20/30gb softcap

Acutally Luke7777, that's 20/40gig softcaps. A pal of mine has a 512 classic (now called Business, the 256k has been renamed Professional) that he keeps ..."active" :) with emule; we found out that it's very definitely a 40gig cap.

silkman, seeing as you reckon you're good for 20gig, the Professional looks quite good for you ..at the very least, you can start on the moderate monthly cost of around R800/m and if you find you need/have to upgrade, you can. But if you start at the top end and find you don't actually need it, it's a pain to downgrade to a lower capacity service..

Why international news group?

IS has a fantastic one, and for R200 per month, you can get 3/30GB account.

I used to use giganews, but IS retention is as good - if not better.

One thing with IS, is that it only allows IPs in their range. MyWi 128 runs in the 80's (I think) and can't access IS, whereas 256 starts with 196.* and is allowed. Don't know about the 512 range

Fair comment - but it seems that the poster above wants a new account, so this seems like a good option - and also saves the $5+ per month for the international news group fees.
