I'm buying a Full HD LCD soon, and will go the PS3 route in stead of a stand-alone blu-ray player.
I currently have a PS2, and some games. Now I have heard some contradicting stories when it comes to backwards compatibility, etc...
Which PS3s can play PS2 games? the 40, 60 or 80GB?
I have heard things like "the one with four USB ports", but seeing that I don't have one, I wont know what amount of ports etc....
As I rarely play any games, except guitar hero 3 on my ps2, i can buy the 40GB and be ahppy t get a blu-ray player.... or I can get one that's backwards compatible, and still play guitar hero 3!!!! then my question would be..... will my ps2 guitar work on the PS3???????????????
Ya, unfortunately none of the new models support PS2 anymore so you would have to shop around for one of the earlier models.
Other than that go for the model which you can get the cheapest. Hard drives are fully replaceable with any size hard drive you like so dont pay thousands to get a 160gb instead of an 80gb when you can put in a 500gb or even 1Tb drive for the same price.
40GB? I thought they discontinued those a while ago? Where was this....cos thats a great deal. Wouldnt mind picking one up at that price as Im looking too
Dude....you didnt answer my question![]()
