Which roadside assist would you recommend for your car or motorcycle?

I have been burned by tyre repair guys who don't quote beforehand and cost me a fortune in the end.

Do these roadside companies ask for payments like insurance once you claim?

Where are you insured? Some insurances have this as a add on or thrown in. There is free covers etc.
