Best Robot Vacuum

Not watching the video since I own it already...but what do you mean mopping may not be used?
Meaning if mopping will leave lines etc I will not use it.
From this video and others it seems the dual rotating pads is the best for mopping.

That is a ridiculously good price for the Xiaomi and I would be more than happy to pay that and buy it again for less.

Watched the silly moany video and the fail seems to be that he hasn't actually mapped out the carpets so it hasn't lifted the mops at all if that was your concern.
...
I say that as someone with only like 2 carpets in the house and anything else like bathroom mats and such I just pick up and move out the way.
Whole house tiled but we have loose carpets.
I actually see that as good to know information; set the thing to vacuum carpets first then mop to avoid wet mops on the carpets (even when lifted)
Funny story, we use dirtrapper carpets in all the bathrooms and wash room after trying one.

Also weird he keeps mentioning cleaning liquid and following the instructions....because every one of these I've seen says NOT to use any cleaning liquid even though I do as well.
Some brand seem to want to force you to buy their detergent, those I will also avoid

Can’t say I’ve ever noticed streaks from the mop anywhere after the 5 minutes since it’s done and fully dried.

Even before I had the rotating mops and it just dragged its ass around everywhere.

The minor bit of water I may leave behind or any carpet is so slight I doubt anyone would notice it if they weren’t actively looking for it.

Dirttrapper will probably be perfect due to the way their edges are flat for the vacuum to use cruise right over.

I have those memory foam type ones in the bathroom and it will sometimes spin them around and then confuse itself so l just pick them up onto the toilet seat and throw them back down once it’s done past, mostly because it’s a bit too tricky and fiddly to program those into the interface and there isn’t really enough space for it to get off the carpet entirely and back on the floor fully.

The Persian carpet in the passage I have programmed in and that’s never an issue except one time it curled the edge over and then decided this is a barrier and simply would not go past it and took a moment or three to find a way around.

The only annoyance I really have with mine is because there is no onboard water I can’t just drop it in my break room and let it carry on because it gets massively confused when it wants to go back to the base station. In this regard the all onboard cheap one before this one was far better as it just carried on until the battery was dying and then I would take it home.

You shouldn't have a robot vacuum do your bathrooms, you risk spreading E.coli into your living areas.

Oh sweet Jesus.

Next you'll tell me never to cook chicken and burn all my pork to a crisp.

By that logic I should never enter or exit a bathroom because I'll spread E.coli....which is a perfectly naturally occurring thing by the way.

You sound like an American.

Is anyone awake? There is a R3799 deal for a Dreame F10 on One Day Only and I'm about to buy it as my first Robo vacuum. Is it a good deal and should I do it? 59 minutes left to make a decision.

A link would have helped a lot.

Personally wouldn't buy a robot vacuum now that isn't self-emptying/self-cleaning and as those go the price seems quite rough because I paid about the same 6 years ago for Xiaomi 1C so would expect it to cost half that by now.

I would rather get this one...https://www.onedayonly.co.za/products/l10s-ultra-1st-gen-robotic-vacuum-20260423?algolia_index=odo_prod&algolia_query_id=331178ed8d9de7c8ccec905ad2d02af6

But then I would just get the Xiaomi on special listed in this thread earlier instead of either.
