Best ROM for Galaxy Tab 2 (P5100)

I tried loading the Samsung Stock 4.2.2 on it last night, but it is sluggish, and I don't have multiple users, something I need.
Any suggestions what else i can use that is worth it, and doesn't need extensive knowledge of Linux and the Android SDK to deploy?

I had the galaxy tab 2 7inch, also galaxy s, s2, Nook, xperia go. I installed custom firmware on all of them usually cyanogenmod. From my experience the custom roms aren't that much faster than stock rom, Custom roms usually overclock on low end devices but not by much also I read on xda forums how much faster and smoother the custom roms are but at most its only placebo effect.

Also the custom roms are variations of cyanogenmod. So if you want custom rom go with cyanogenmod.

I don't think its worth the hassle to get custom rom. If its sluggish, just get rid of background widgets. Uninstall all useless apps. Some music apps stay in memory after turning them off so have only 1 etc. Install lightweight launcher, they usually take less RAM than touchwiz launcher. Also the galaxy tab 2 chipset is just slow. No matter what you do its going to stay sluggish.
