Best SA service provider regarding updates

Does anyone know what SA service provider releases updates for phones the fastest?
I have a cell phone with Vodacom and they have not even released the latest version of my phone's software, the latest updates has been out for about 2 year.. They did not even release any update for my phone.

I also have a Tablet with Cell C and not much luck there, software update was released about 6 months ago and still no update in SA

I can move my contract in January and this will probably be the decider who I choose.
Wish android's updates was not such a mess

There's always nexus, bypass the ****ty cell companies. Otherwise manually flashing any updates is your best option.
