Post your favourite Pepper and Salt Grinders and recommend some to others.

Personally, I am looking for the best price vs performance pepper and salt grinders :)

Google gives me a lot of American brands and Amazon results.

Why?

I can't "spare no expense" so I am just feeling around for good price vs performance grinders. Otherwise, I am going to tank it and just spend R100 on one of those big ones, but how's the grinder on those, etc? Worth buying?

I didn't know this was even a thing, TBH.

lol, I wasn't aware it wasn't a "thing". I take pride in my ability to increase my quality of life :)

Some of those grinders, even the pricey ones are really shitty and tend to break and the grinder tends to get blunt after too much use. In b4 - just buy a new one then.

I like that one. Can also be used to bliksem whoever gives you schit.

I have three great grinders (one salt and two pepper) that I have had for 10 to 12 years and they are still fantastic to use. Custom made locally - prices and service are fantastic. Highly recommended, you can pick size, shape, wood used all to your taste.

Any burr pepper grinder will do. The resultant flake sizes will be equal.

This is awesome, thanks a lot

Peugeot hands down. We have ones in the family that are over 40 years old!

I have Le Creuset salt and pepper grinders, they are champs and they look great.
I have also turned quite a few over time so I know their in's and out's quite well.
Main thing to look for is a Crushgrind ceramic mechanism, most of the major brands use them. It will last a long time and has good adjustability.
After that its pretty much just down to how you want it to look.
