I am a remote location where we depend on VSAT for communications. I would like to block all P2P as it not required for work and eats our daily bandwidth allocation
The satelite router is connected to a D link DIR-300 wireless router, through which we connect.
Any explination of the following settings will be appreciated
Universal Plug and Play (UPnP) supports peer-to-peer Plug and Play functionality for network devices.
Should I disable this.
Enable WAN Ping Respond I it better security to be off.
Enable multicast streams. We dont need to watch videos. Therefore should I switch this off
Lag eliminated (VoIP, Streaming) We dont use VoiP ut do use Skype. On or off ?
