Best software to remove Autorun viruses

I mostly run Linux (where this is obviously not a problem), but we have windows clients as well and they are always prone to flash disk autorun viruses - I've used avira in the past, but it only protects by disabling access to the inf file. If a system is already infected (and thereby infecting every flash you stick into it) Avira blocks it from spreading but does not remove it from the original PC - what is the best anti-virus to use to remove these?

Yeah that is generally the way to go with the new pc's, but the ones that are already infected still needs to be cleaned.

There are a few which, once loaded, are impossible to remove with an AV program and after deleting it's files it simply recreates them. I recently got one which loaded a file called orgapin.exe on my work PC. It couldn't be deleted or scanned for inside windows even using safe mode or delete on reboot programs. If you can find an AV program which loads off a boot disk that'll work if it's definitions are up to date. What I eventually did was load a tinylinux boot disk and delete the files manually. Problem solved. Now to get rid of it from the rest of my office's PC's.

Microsoft Security Essentials has so far stopped every autorun virus shipped to me.

I am using Microsoft Security Essentials, it so far had no problem at all. It is running smoothly in the background, does not even know it is there and it is doing the job. I have tested lots of infected files and not one of them have been able to pass MSE. It is excelent.

Plug the Memory stick into a linux pc and delete the autorun virus. Easiest way to clean the memory sticks.
