Best Spec For R5000 Limit

Hi All,

I got R5000, maybe R5300 to spend for Hardware.

Im upgrading my pc, so i only need this:

CPU ( Core2Duo/AMD Dual Core 3800+ minimum )
Motherboard ( Preferably SLI )
Memory ( 1GB DDR800/667 )
Graphics Card ( ATI/GeForce 256MB GDDR3 128Bit minimum )

Ive searched on a bunch of SA online shops but i keep getting to like R6000/R5600. Thats just too much!

So please guys, if u know of any good places to buy this stuff at for a good price then i would be very great full...

I have heard that www.prophecy.co.za has good prices, so try them, and if you can't find a lower price for the components you wish to upgrade, I have the feeling you won't find them cheaper through any retail channel, unless you can find someone who imports and sells from home. (Be cautious about warranty though). Unfortunately computer retail is an industry with very tight profit margins.

Perhaps you would like to save up for another 1-2 weeks to be able to afford what you like.
