I was wondering if there is a specific time of the year when the best deals are around on cell phone's. I know with some products like Cars etc you get big discounts in January due to the models then being 1 year older. Was curious if the same is true for cell-phones. My contract is up for renewal at the end of the year and I was wondering if I should just go with the best deal available now or wait it out a bit and see what comes along.
The other thought I had is that when a company releases or announces its new models older models that may still be excellent phones get heavily discounted. I think I got my present HTC Dream like that two years ago.
