Hi
Been looking at alternatives of my current TV setup
And possibly rewiring depending on cost

Basically need some advise

6 TV sets on completion
Need to have
Netflix, Showmax, DSTV any other suggestions
Possible free channels from another sattelite

What gadgets should i look at investing in to get to
Basically stream better or any other suggestions
On the perfect setup

Hi
Thanks for all the advise
Would one Roku machine work on all
6 TVs or would i need one Roku per TV

Im hoping that if 3 different or all 6 TV being used
From DSTV we could only have 2 of them using DSTV
Netflix could get a 5 user license
Showmax need to still research

How many Rokus would i need

On showmax you can only have 2 active streams at the same time on one account so you gonna need a few subscriptions. https://www.showmax.com/eng/service-terms under 6.3

You can get DSTV Now (50 DSTV channels Live including all the sport channels) with premium DSTV all you gotta do is sign up. Once again only 2 active streams.

Are any of your TV's smart TV's because that would alleviate some of the problems.

You could have one PC with multiple screens but it is pretty difficult to setup and run properly.

With the DSTV you can buy a splitter box with 8 splits to different TV's so that shouldn't be a problem but I would get in an aerial company to do just to make it neat.

You gonna need at least a stable 20mb/s line to run all this with 200-500gigs of data only for streaming.

Hi
Can anyone suggest who can i contact
To assist in setup

All are smart tvs
Which would be the best isp
Im in a telkom fibrehood area

Well considering they are all smart TV's you can just connect them to internet via Wi-Fi so there are all you Netflix/Showmax concerns sorted. You may need a Wi-Fi extender depending on the size of your house.

Contact DJ... http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/member.php/24737-DJ hes from Crystal Web and see what he can sort out for you with the fibre.
