Best TV for PC gaming

Hi, I'm looking for a budget TV to be used for pc gaming. Preferably between 36-42inch, 4k or atleast LED 1080P.

Any ideas??

TVs can work fine for PC gaming, but I'm deeply sceptical that a budget TV can. If you aren't getting a pretty serious TV, or if you play fast-paced games like shooters, then stick to a gaming monitor.

Used rtings for that and got the 55" samsung qled (q7f) which works fine when in gaming mode via wired hdmi.

Decent size and high refresh rate. But I have a 4k LG TV that has a "gaming mode" that reduces the input lag to 20ms, not the best, but definitely not noticeable for me (maybe for someone else, that might be noticeable). It's only 60hz, though.

Really now?? It depends on your budget and whether a monitor outperforms a TV for its price. It's science, and science doesn't lie. Monitors perform far better than cheap TV's below most price ranges.

Got nothing to do with snobbishness or elitism - it's pure facts and we don't give a rats ass whether your elitish behaviour is the decision between you buying a TV or PC monitor or not.

They usually run on TV's.

Consoles don't have the graphical fidelity and performance of a gaming PC, so a 5 year old console will look great on any cheap TV - the biggest barrier being screen response rate, which can become a huge mitigating factor at higher frame rates, and pixel-to-pixel text fidelity.
