Best value all-in-one printer?

Can anyone recommend the best all-in-one (print/fax/scan/copy) device for home use?

Nice to haves:

* Single ink cartridges
* Small footprint
* Not too damn expensive (both to buy and run!)

The only advise I can give is "DON'T GET AN INKJET"

I'm with Abe, I have the Canon MF3220 and its only a pleasure working with it. If you need a fax look at the MF3240, it creates a fax printer on your pc from where you fax, there is no ADF (auto document feeder) though. Also take a look at the hp m1005.
