What is the least frustrating way to interact with Vodacom for upgrades and new data contracts?

I have now tried their online shop and multiple stores in the Western Cape and it's a consistent disappointment:
* Can't find deals in the "system" that are listed on the deal sheet and brochure
* Website crashes in the middle of check out
* Won't sell me stuff from the deal sheet because it's not "in the brochure"
* Don't understand TwinSIM / DataSIM and keep breaking my account
* Won't let me sign an upgrade unless I add insurance (which they will remove later)

Where is the "by techies, for techies" sales channel that I can talk to?

In the past I would have said @Ockie but don’t think he does it any more.

Personally I would just get the hell out of Vodacom while you can.

Ja...I only do business accounts. Don't even have access to the new system where individual accounts are hosted.
Sooo... you're saying I should move my lines into the name of a business to be taken seriously?

I was closed to my end of my 1 contract... So I phoned 1958 to cancel the line... They offered me a 50% odd off my current package. I declined. Couple of days later I called to check if the cancellation is still in the system which they confirmed... And then they offered me more deals. I got 50gb anytime and 50gb night for R450/month.. I took it. It's better than mtn.

The other networks signals are just to useless here.

So try 1958 and see what you can get.
