Best Web Search Engines

Hi guys, this might be a bit lame, but lets post all the search engines we know of here to help us find stuff on the web. Hopefully we'll find the best one. Perhaps give a rating or tell us which is your preferred one.

The ones I know of are:

www.google.com (preferred)
www.ananzi.co.za
www.yahoo.com
www.altavista.digital.com (used this one when I started surfing back in 1997)
www.hotbot.com
www.lycos.com

google is indeed king, but isn't there a local google for capped users? (is google.co.za on a local server?)

nope, tracert www.google.co.za. omg, it goes London -&gt; New York -&gt; London -&gt; Dublin.
