Best wired modem router?

I am switching over from iBurst and currently already have a N-based wireless router (with gigabit ports). I don't want to replace my wireless router with another ADSL-modem router and am looking for the best wired ADSL router.

Should have firewall, good reliability and uptime. My setup is 24x7 and many times I remote into my NAS - as such I need high reliability on the modem router. Any suggestions (budget is not a great concern)?

My choice at the moment is the Netgear DG834 (link here: http://www.netgear.com/Products/RoutersandGateways/WiredRouters/DG834.aspx) - has anyone got experience with that router?

using a d-link dsl-2540u and very happy with it. yes there are better out there but then you pay for it
paid R520 for it
but check out www.pricecheck.co.za before buying anf get the best deal.
