Best Wireless Broadband in Centurion!

Hello HartsockZA,

Our cost for a full installation including internal wireless AP etc varies from house to house. If you already have equipment on your LAN inside 95% of the time it can be used. Remember your quote includes the CPE, pole, bracket, cable, indoor AP and labour to install this.

Please could you tell us where you can source the Cambium ePMP Force 200 for R1200 per unit we could do some business together :) and help bring down costs for everyone!

You are more than welcome to supply all the equipment yourself the Cambium is available from Miro, Datanet, and Duxbury you can install everything and we will only charge you a call out fee to align and configure the dish.

Hope this helps :)

I never said that the antenna is the same, please read properly before quoting me incorrectly. "the antenna they use, to the one I can get are the same only difference is that where I can get it costs R1200"

But now this doesn't really apply after your sales director said to me you only use a specific manufactured antenna and can't use the others due to apparent performance issues. But yes, I've asked my suppliers to have a look, and all is being arranged through your Sales Director.

I have my own household network setup and all I need is the antenna and whatever else that comes with that, but my reaction was really all because of the most basic setup and mind you I am only going to get the 4mb line speed package why on earth do I need a 4K system for such a "entry leveled" connection.

HartsockZA - if you don't want it, don't get it. Stop complaining and posting irrelevant stuff, nobody is forcing you to sign up with them.

It is market related. <- Fact :D

PS: You seem like the client that has red dots on their files everywhere ;)

:eek::eek: How did you know!?

I love my red dots, they're everywhere, big angry red ones and big smiles.

In all honestly I was doing some research for quite a number of households that approached me through my initiative with LFI (Lynnwood Fiber Initiative), people wanted a replacement until fiber was fully deployed in the area, at a sort of fordable cost. So in essences I was doing research for them, so now I have something to say, rather just wait for either Telkom or Frogfoot to deploy patiently. But alas not all people are patient.

That is really expensive one would've thought they could use ubiquity antenna's or Mikrotiks or maybe have a 2nd hand buy back option then by all means this would be worth it for them. But have fun on your wireless connections ladies, will enjoy my fiber connection :p

I don't see WISP's advertising "let's provide you with temporarily internet, take the loss on the equipment, do the install for free, but wait best of all we do this, so you are not inconvenienced until you get you fiber" :erm:

Most defiantly will... Keep up the good work - red dots will follow without a doubt :p

Refer your fiber provider to this post - I'll sponsor the red dots! ;)

LOL! So your price comparison is like saying you need a new tyre for your car but you can get a bicycle tyre for R100 so the tyre dealer is a rip off! Like seriously how is this relevant? Did you get an actual price for the same radio somewhere else and was it half the price of the quote?

If you feel its a rip off then just dont sign up! I've been a client for 2 years and I am happy the cost of the equipment is quickly forgotten.

Enjoy your non existent fibre or the hope that Telkom will install FTTH in around 2018 at your house.
