I am with bestmed i have never had problems with them ....only thing is they for some reason or another
are closed until the 5/10/11..the mind boggles..i had to pay cash for my script this morning

My own experiences with Bestmed: reasonable cover, very expensive, they have a very lackadaisical attitude to following up queries - don't expect a reply to an email query; I've been to see them 4 times already for one query and it's still not sorted out. Yes, their computers are off the air this week for "upgrading" - ALL services are at a standstill. My only reason for still being with them is an employer subsidy.

I didn't actually think they were that expensive compared to places like Discovery
Been with them for a very long time. No problems with them at all. I've always gotten prompt responses to emails, and have even had them phone me to sort out a problem. They do seem a bit slower since they were taken over by Sanlam though.
As far as the current computer downtime is concerned, I received both email and SMS warning to get any chronic medication before they went down.
