Just to clarify, is there any kind of obligaton whatsoever to continue using ODS as an ISP if you are engaged in beta testing?

Here is the uncapped unshapped adsl document,

The product is called the UUA

Hi,

Yes, anywhere in SA will be fine as you are connecting into the ADSL cloud via a vpn tunnel to our VPN servers. So it does not matter who you have the account with nor where you are based.

Please could you ping www.ods.co.za and email me you latency ?

Obviously you are more interested in Business Users rather than Private individuals and I seriously think that you should help MYADSL pay his costs for the free ad you have just placed.

Praise the observant nOOb! How can you miss the banners! Every time i log on just about the first thing i see is ODS. How many other people/ISP's do you see there? And with a name like myADSL i am hoping that that is the sort of thing you see, companies tring to make sollutions to bring down the cost of teleco in RSA.

There is no peace without war!!!

That's fine, but don't make it sound like you are doing anybody a favour, <font color="blue">"please come and be a beta tester, it's free". </font id="blue">That's got to be the worst pricing that I have seen for ADSL so far. Sure it's not just Telkom in disguise.

Dean, if you don't mind could you clear a few things up for me.

Regarding your home user packages (night and burst), I'm assuming that you provide a proxy server. Can you can keep your existing (non-ODS) adsl account (i.e. only R299/R399 p/m to ODS)?

Can you give any indication of a minimum speed that can be expected from the burst account during the day?

Sounds like a good product to me so far, nice work.

Hi dabean,

To be honest the after hours package will provide you with great speeds after hours, however during the day you will not get speeds above 5-6 kbs.
