I had a problem recently where I needed a better way to manage and search for files on my computer and tried to use file tagging. Unfortunately Windows does not do tagging very well and doesn't provide a good way to search for tagged files. After some searching I found a program called Tabbles that does this and does it well.
With it you can create your own tags and can add multiple tags for any file types as well as allowing you to search for a group of files by selecting multiple tags to include or exclude in the search results.
