Beware Chaos Crew False advertising.

I seriously remember myself as a young guy being roasted here posting stupid sht.

Welcome to mybroadband. :p

Well can you tell us then were mybb touched you, perhaps it was the same place as the op.What makes you think the roasting has stopped or that you have grown up ? You have been roasted so much on here that you are delusional into thinking you can have any sort of personal growth on mybb....

Been, there, done that.Guys from PCF might remember the whole core2quad 6600 B6 fiasco.....I was pretty adamant I could get the same core speeds from my B6 revision as the G0 revision, that didn't end well I think managed 3.6ghz or some thing like that, did have the best possible occing board at the time for q6600s DFI 875p or some thing.

*edit how %%&%$$ nerdy am I to still remember the CPU revision numbers and the motherboard sigh.

I'm guessing you are mistaking me for someone else.

I'm not being roasted by anyone.
I have been, but that's what discussions are about.

If you saw me now you'd probably see I'm a completely different person that you'd imagine. Things like personal growth, even on a forum is like time. It goes on and on.

My personal growth will be into infinity.
This world is not even close to where I'm from.

You are only saying that because you outgrown your old clown oufit...... /jk of course.
Every one starts somewhere in the case of the OP, I know a lost cause when I see one.....

Seems the op is a bewarist

That isn't advertising.
It's an incorrect description.

Did you attempt to contact them and inform them?

Or did you run here to cry wolf?
It is advertising if the description accompanies a product or service for sale.

Like takealot would do any thing about, well for one there is nothing to fix sure the image is incorrect, but they allow sellers to put indicative market prices of 1 million rand on a R100.00 item what makes you think they would fix some thing like that that really isn't broken, as the description is pretty accurate.

I am not going to post links it is easy enough to find and have no intention of giving some one free advertising, but their store is pretty descriptive. Not that any one would support them as their prices isn't exactly competitive and their is issues like choosing a coolermaster power supplies for their builds, which isn't just a big no they add bare min power supply leaving very little room for any sort of upgrade.

They essentially offering to build a PC with what they can get and specs with a nice little markup.

Poor choice of an image because poor graphics isn't just gaussian blur. Maybe if they used mosiac but not gaussian blur. Low graphics is pixelated and it would run at higher frame rates at lower pixelated graphics lol

No. It's a description.
It's up to the client to verify the product is the intended purchase or not.

I've bought products from major online stores that all had some funky descriptions here and there.

I'm not saying the description is void. I'm saying don't be a nob like the OP and cry about it.

I think you need to research what the South African Advertising Standards Authority considers an ad. I don't think it's worth crying over but his argument is not wrong.

I will check it to be sure.
I just know from years of online shopping I've never had any such issues.
The description is way off, but I know I want a product, so I verify it's what I get.
