Beware these DStv upgrade scams

MultiChoice has warned of an increasing number of scams targetting South African DStv customers, and it has listed some of the most prevalent attacks.

DStv spokesperson said that any upgrade which offers you value for money is probably a scam. "Genuine offers will have a lot of fine print and stuff you don't really want bundled with it. If someone is offering you a good deal on an upgrade that seems like you're getting exactly what you want - it's a scam".
