She could probably tell from your spelling that you would be an easy catch and will probably still fck you over, even if you paid. Tell her to go ahead and release it. Either nobody will give a damn, or it will blow over fast.

You didn't understand the scenario. If someone starts stalking you randomly on Whatsapp, you block them. If they got pics of you by any other means than Whatsapp, then Whatsapp is irrelevant anyway.
 
Had such a person add me on Facebook. Only saw a lot of common friends (from varsity residence) so assumed I probably just don't remember the name so accepted. Got a message saying we should chat on WhatsApp. A close look at the profile showed not much happening, very little photos or events and ONLY male friends. Unfriend and report account immediately for what it was but not after she invited each and every single one of my male facebook friends.

So they don't only start from a WhatsApp invite. But easy enough to spot either way...

They were going through a rough time, so it's entirely possible to get caught in this.

'She' wanted cash or would send the photos his Facebook contacts. The worst thing is 'she' threatened to use his photo and say something 'this man was caught fiddling kids and released. Please share so everyone knows and is aware' ... and based on what I've seen on Facebook, THAT will fly and damage someone fully.

Relation to the topic - lots of them said the dude below tried to get pics from them or talked dirty, so this scam may be going both ways and other social platforms:

- A girl messaged me on Facebook out of the blue saying someone is stealing my pics.
I go and check and lo and behold this poephol using my FB pics as his own.
I could see most of the likes and 99% were women. I change mine to one that he had not yet copied and messaged them all saying that I'm the real "me" lol.
I then reported his account via FB and about 30 minutes later FB removed the account, but needless to say I'm chatting to about 30 young ladies so this nar did me a good one acting as an unappointed pimp lol.
 
I think if extorted simply ask them to meet you somewhere for payment. When they show just kick their ass - that's if it's someone whose ass you can kick and not some big Nigie with similar friends in tow.

I'm sorry but why on earth would anyone in this day and age, having even the slightest knowledge of social media and all the relevant publicity, put naked photos of themselves out into the ether and not expect consequences.........it actually begs belief.
