BF 5 Servers in SA

Before I buy this game, are there still no servers in SA for PC.
How about BF 1 player base. last time I checked a few months ago was still empty.

Looking to get back into gaming.

Yeah BF as a whole died down significantly after BF5. It was more of a replacement for people who preferred BF1 over BF4. BF1 died instantly the moment BF5 came out. Literally 0 people across all the servers for ZA. I've personally given up trying to play BF locally due to the lack of proper populated Conquest servers. If you can find a good EU server and your ISP is decent (170-190ms) you can have an enjoyable experience most of the time.

Meanwhile Modern Warfare has come out but that's a corridor shooter in comparison, but a possible holdover till the next proper BF4 sequel.
 
I was reading the forum on COD MW. Looks like lot of servers available and decent size community. Think I'm gonna try that instead of BF5.
 
BF5? Lol I missed that one somehow.
I guess I lost interest in the BF franchise anyway.
 
Battlefield was the heat in comparison to bf5. Bf1 was very popular right up until the point that pos bf5 launched. I miss bf1 and the community
 
There is not a single SA BF5 server at the moment, so don't try playing it during the day in the week. It is kind of sad really, especially if you compare this to how many servers we had with BF3 and 4.
 
There were about 5-6 servers last night. Not all of them full, but it did seem decent.

I haven't played in a couple of weeks, so it was the first time playing the Pacific maps. It did not go well...
