How full are the local servers?

I see the special also extends to Battlefront II... I am tempted to get both, but want to know how populated the servers are before I spend money.

Normally two 64 player servers and one or two 24 player servers full at all time.

Do the SA servers use the premium maps?

Yes but they've separated per expansion. So one server runs vanilla maps only, one server runs French maps only, one server runs Russian maps only etc. There's no server that has ALL of the maps.

That being said, last night I was playing on a full server with the latest Apocalypse expansion, night before I was on a full server for the French expansion.So you can play all the expansions eventually.
