Bf2 on Windows 7

Is there a way of running BF2 on a Windows 7 machine? I tried but the system tells me that the game is not tested on the platform.

Works fine on my system, and I know a few others it's works seamlessly on.

Thanks guys. I got scared by that message only. LOL. The game is working good on my side too. I am only worried about not being able to communicate with the guys by Mic. How do I get Mic working?

I have already setup my mic such that I can hear myself speaking. My only problem is that the option for Enable Mic Boost is not available on BF2. The Mic Boost is only available on windows which results in a load noise when enabled.

I am using Windows 7 Ultimate (34bit) and a headset mic.

Thanks guys. I was sorted. I am able to converse with squad members now. It may be possible that I missed info about the B key. LOL.

Upgrade to BC2 while it's cheap. Far better and more people playing online.

BC2 is rubbish wait for BF3 and in the meantime get Project Reality (realitymod.com) its an epic BF2 mod (free) with full servers every night and massive maps and a great community. You really wont regret it and Im presuming you playing on overseas servers anyway as very few play BF2 here in ZA any more.
