I would like to install BF2 to play online, as BF2142 has died and it seems BF2 is still going.
I read up here that all I need is patch 1.41 and 1.5, sort the punkbuster issues and im good, but when I try installing 1.41 (downloaded from : ftp://ftp.games.saix.net/ ) I get an error "patching has failed" err what now ?
Ok I downloaded 1.2 - 1.21 incremental to see if that helps, now it says I must install 1.2 first ??? I thought the BF2 DVD was 1.2 ? WTF !!! There is no ver 1.2 patch at saix ftp so what now
