BF2 punkbuster solution

I am still struggling with the punkbuster. I tried pb_security 0 but it didn't work. I manage to create two dial-up connections for my modem, one for local and another for international, thanks to snail112 and the other dudes on RAPPPOE discussions.

PB should update automatically. Note, should. Your next option is to DL the PB update thingy - that should work. Again, see above for should. Your next option is to DL the two (you'll find them on the PB site) files and copy them to your PB directory. This the PB directory for the game. One goes in the PB directory and the other in a sub-directory of that directory, if memory serves.

Why this is the last option if it the only option that seems to work for me, is one of life's great unexplained mysteries.

hahaha hes flipping annoying... you just need to outsneak him cause hes a farking sneaky bugga, hides in clear site sometimes, and has a quick trigger finger.. Key is when you see him, or some other char doing the same, get him in ur sites, duck out of site quickly, then reappear getting ready to take the shot. If you linger, you will get sniped.. he doesnt miss... even better if u can outflank him and knife the bugga...

I've learnt from them, him and some other very good snipers. (I only play sniper, and getting ok in it.)

I'm at least getting my own back on them now. Once you know the maps inside out then you find some very good spots to hit and get awesome shots in. Best map for sniping in my opinion is "Road to Jalalabad"

I love that map :p

oooo and that guy called Wizard@sniping = Just as annoying.

I have noticed that once they take a spot they hardly move from it. If I spot them and the didn;t see me, I get around them and take them from another side. Works sometimes but most of the time I get raped by some Assault guys /cry :p

hehe jalalalabaaaaaaad - annoying map but can be fun...
Strange to see VVB guys running around with snipers.. u expect them to only carry g36e's and med packs... :p
Your mouse sensitivity plays a big roll in sniping well, the ability to target a players Head hitbox immediately after spotting is the key, should be one movement of pointing and clicking, if you have to position your crosshair around, chances are you will miss... all in the speed, and always aim slightly higher, i find putting my crosshair on the top of the guys head instead of directly at him will give you more chance of a headshot.. 1 shot kills are the key... if you make a shot, and the toss keeps running, whip out your pistol and finish him off, even at range.. it helps alot..
 
Knife

Dono it might just be me. But I have found being Knifed to be the most humiliating thing in BF2 :D

T-Bag doesn't even come close to the humiliation suffered at the end of a blade :D

I have only had the chance to knife 2 people and it was so much fun :p

Bullet drop can be a Beeat@# especially for a noob like me :D

Playing WoW for ages I have met my fair share of kids. But last night on BF2 Urban I was dumb struck by some of the people playing there. For some reason they initiated a vote kick on a guy from SA which I have never seen before. I assume his new. Obviously no-one wanted him off because they needed something like 32 votes to kick him and only about 4 voted yes. This carried on for about 4 rounds they keep on spamming to votekick this dude. It went down to only about 1 or 2 people saying yes but they kept on doing it.

People started complaining and then it just got worse.

I switched off and highly doubt I'll be back there soon. No wonder the servers never get full. I'm there to relax and play. But what happened tonight just made me aware of how young some of those players are. Prob 9 or something.

I'll just play something else :p

btw the guy the wanted to vote off was Billy_BobZA or something.

Just make it 7. Some idiots just play to stuff up the game for the regulars.

Cannot wait for the schools to start again
 
Hey guys,

I got few the promotion and few awards last night. By the way how was my command? I enjoyed some commanding last night, except few cases were I missed to spot an enemy at my position.
