You would need to join #battlefield3 on IRC.

For those that dont know. Pickups are a great way to simulate competitive play. While you're there you're also meeting and speaking to fellow community members. WIN WIN!!!

I urge all BF3 players to at least check this out. Its a great way to learn or improve your game.
 
I, for one, don't mind the bump. :)

Pickups are awesome. I encourage all you BF3 guys to try them out. There are guys of all skill levels playing. It's a great way to improve your gameplay and I find they give a better experience than the pub servers. I've had some great pickup games over the last few days.

I'm keen, whats the process? Do I just drop into the TS channel?

Join the IRC channel using the link in Vovo's post above. Type !add in the chat to add to the pickup (if there is a game on - otherwise an admin will need to start one). Once there are 16 players added, the bot will pm you the BF3 server address and password. Join the TS server and you're good to go.

If it's your first time, just ask what's potting on the IRC channel or TS. They're a friendly bunch and will help you out. :)

Ok will try this tonight... shot, if you see Greybush_ZA thats me.
 
Just be aware that it doesnt always materialise on week nights. So if a game doesnt happen tonite keep coming back to check tomoro etc.
