BF4 vs Hardline

Looking for advice, I wanna buy both but for now only one will fit into the budget, besides I dont think I will play both at the same time. I loved bf3 and I love probably all types of engagement like rush, TDM etc etc.

My question is what should I get first ? Was thinking BF4 but some reports are very negative about the stability and I must admit hardline looks good. I will probably get both in the next 6 months though

PS - please dont say COD cos I just cannot get into it, tried for years now and eventually sold/gave away all my games
 
Wonder how they went about the cops and robbers plot. Doesn't sound Battlefield like
 
Don't bother with hardline.its already dropping fast in player numbers. You will struggle to find busy servers

Serious, on what platform ? I play on xbox360 bf3 and nowadays the servers are also dropping sadly
 
Massive BF fan and played BF3 on Pc and now playing BF4 on Ps. I had a good look at Hardline, but it just isn't Battlefield for me.
Also not a fan of the cops and robbers, even though we played this since childhood. But it just doesnt appeal to me, and i love military/war games more.

Cant wait for Battlefront! Go the Empire! - down with the rebel scum!
 
EA have succeeded in their goal with bf; to create their own brand of CoD that can be rehashed every year and monetized with premium and dlc.

Will Battlefront be in a multiplayer format as well like battlefield ? There seemed to be limited info or just I cant google correct lol
 
ok fokkit, rather lame googleing cos I found this now -

The game includes cooperative missions which can be played offline but does not have a campaign mode. Players can complete the missions both independently and with bots or another player; the game supports split screen.[11] The game's online multiplayer mode supports up to 40 players in one match and 12 multiplayer maps will be available at launch. These maps will feature four locations from the Star Wars universe - Hoth, Tatooine, Endor, and Sullust.[12][13]

Only info so far is that it is multiplayer, but you won't have squads like in the other BF series. You will have 1 partner that you can spawn on.
 
Updaqte - went out to BT games this morning and I was still so 50/50 until I saw that they have BF4 on special for R299, much much easier to choose then (R299 vs R799 for Hardline) , only thing is that its not premium but I can always add that.

Also check on Raru and loot. If you wanna buy from loot use a voucher freeloot

Someone please explain the downloads for me cos honestly saying Im dissapointed is an understatement !!!!

Firstly, the gameplay so far is not that great, the graphics etc feels a little too call of dutyish for me.

The maps ?? WTF ?? I will not comment further cos I will get me premium but on BF3 non premium maps are great compared to these maps ? Do I need to download the pack to get more maps ?

Are there any free downloads or should I just get me the premium and then download ? I have a uncap line but its 2MB and its vrek slow for the big downloads !!!

Why are the game rooms so empty ? Is this also due to the packs I need to download ? I only ever saw 3 rooms full. Heck bf3 have many more rooms full - PS - I unticked all filter options to make sure I can get max rooms.

The controls are different, I suppose this is a mini rant cos I can set them up like bf3 but why change ? Again it feels like COD with the knife and prone button changes.

So far I am not impressed to me honest, the game actually sucks so far for me. I would give it a 6/10 for game play and a 3/10 for multiplayer and I basically bought it for multiplayer.
 
Okay it seems the edition I bought is more like a campaign mode game with some multiplayer options. The issue is I could not find a flippen Premium edition version. Sucks !!
 
Thanks !!! Wish I saw that before I bought the game from BT Games.

Another question, last night I realised that you no longer need online passes, does that mean I could download the premium from someone who bought the game and run it afterwards from my non premium disk ? I could for instance install the game and then only need the disk to start up and the premium data would also be on my internal hardrive.
