Actually your k/d ratio is not that important. My k/d ratio is 0.77. So yeah I have more deaths than kills, but it's like that because I go out of my way reviving team mates. Also I focus very much on team work. And working together to win the round. I was fortunate to once play in a very awesome squad. We worked perfectly together and ended up letting our team win just because our focus was the objectives and not to gain kills. We literally collected all mcoms on the entire map. While other people just messed around. BF after all is about teamwork and not run and gun like COD. Sure in COD k/d is very important and would mean you generally a better player. But I won't say the same counts for BFBC2.

I suppose the proof is in the pudding when looking to join a clan. They have to see you in action to really know if you are worth it.
