Big change at DStv

Or lower it, or separate it :-/
Think it was something like R50 when I joined. Don't know what you mean by separate as it's an add-on. Unless you mean separate fees for Extraview and PVR. Unfortunately I don't think they'd have separate ones and lower the price so don't want to give them ideas.

Always thought they should allow those XV and PVR "features" to be used separately, would drop it somewhat, but either way it's extreme. Take EasyView for instance - the R30 becomes R150 p/m if you want PVR... that's just utter BS.

PVR access isn't something I think should be charged, and it should work without a subscription. But that would likely require a software update.

charge for xtraview for all i care, its a full dstv for R120. PVR should be free.

So it's still Premium if you want to watch the Boks, which is basically everyone.

F1, the same.

No big change at all.
F1, not really, since you can get the official stream at $60-$80 per year.

Extremists.
Prior managements at Multichoice were extremists, wouldn't dare try any new model for fear of a crack in the door-opening causing an unstoppable flood.
Sports lovers are somewhat extremists too, demanding all, not too practical most of the time.

Well done the Frenchies (not so @Lupus :giggle:) , they opened the door a crack.
Let's just hope they don't take another 32 years to open it properly, 1 or 2 years tops guys, be sensible

Soccer is not a sport so lets just call it the Cricket Channel.
