Big discount for PlayStation Classic

The PlayStation Classic is available for 60% off its original $99 price, going for $39 at Walmart and Amazon.

The latest price cut comes weeks after Amazon listed the PlayStation Classic for $54.99, amid signals that the retro console is struggling to sell.

Ahhh then its not so great..

I had just seen TakeAlots R1200 price...
 
They're having to discount it because it is rubbish and has been widely panned by reviewers.
 
It's going for as low as $25 now in some US stores.
 
Why would someone buy this?
Play this one time and you will get bored.

Yeah, does seem that way... I had paid peripheral attention when it was announced, and then wrote it off when I saw the launch price..

Seeing the special, and then doing a big of digging, its not even worth R900... R300 - R400 would be my range for that piece of kit actually.
 
If it ever dropped below R500 locally, I'd definitely snap one up.

Until then, my Raspberry Pi 3 (courtesy of MyBroadband :)) does the job well.

It's a piece of crap, your better off with the original or pc emulation unfortunately.
