The discussion around the POPIA as it is becoming an increasingly pertinent matter especially taking into account the current state of affairs.

Mitigating Unquantifiable Risk

The Hosted Collaboration Solution uses the Corporate networks are a very attractive target and so, they must be routinely searched for possibilities of risk. The real threats lie with well-organised criminal networks attempting to steal data which they can sell, activists attempting to disrupt your operations, or even rival businesses seeking an edge through corporate espionage. This is why it is no longer enough to simply protect the edges with fire-and-forget software tools. Firewalls at the entry points of your network and anti-virus software on your computers are still important, but they are not enough on their own to secure a network properly.

What makes SECURITY
so important?
Modern businesses are highly reliant on their information technology. From communication tools like mail and instant messaging, to your financial and customer databases, to the control systems running tour factory floor, IT is fundamental to every part of your business.

This makes corporate networks a very attractive target to those malicious actors who may wish you harm. The popular image of the bored teenage hacker defacing websites for fun is unfortunately an outdated one.

BCX has both the experience and expertise to secure even the largest and most complicated enterprise network. Our Security Consultants can analyse your entire IT infrastructure for vulnerabilities and will verify that your policies and procedures meet the latest industry best practices. Our Managed Security Services department will provide the tools needed to detect suspicious activity across your network, defend your computers from viruses, and intercept malicious attacks on your endpoints. And if you choose, our Security Operations Centre will handle the daily tasks of monitoring and responding to security incidents for you

Fairly low key (standard) risk mitigation approach.
Sort of: "Do business with us - or don't..."
Step it up guys!

I found this very interesting.

Simply because there is no instructions on how to disable cookies. There are however links to a website not affiliated with BCX.

However what I don't find as interesting is how BCX took the
F*** you and your concerns. You'll eat what we give you and F*** you for wanting to do it differently
approach like they do towards all their employees, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and most importantly their clients.

Rather than (like almost every website out there) offer a radio button or a toggle switch to disable their cookies, they point you in the direction of a website that'll make you scour its pages on instructions on how to disable cookies and delete the ones BCX had already planted on your device.

This statement should read:

This website uses cookies. By having had used this website you have already given consent to cookies being used. Lol Sorry not Sorry. For information on cookies and how you can disable them visit our Privacy and cookies policy. But note it wont be easy and you're stuck on your own. Lol goodluck. Find out more about cookies here. But don't expect us to make anything easy for you

In bird culture this is what is considered to be a D*** move. Your move BCX

The security first approach of their offering. I do like the cover artwork, picture that says a 1000 words
