Big graphics card boost for SA customers

Unfortunately with that leaked driver doing the rounds, LHR cards are still able to be used for mining. The ETH switch from Proof of Work to Proof of Stake is going to change things for the better, but we might see miners going to other coins, or new coins popping up that replace ETH and continue the cycle.

Honestly, there should be some kind of action taken to develop hardware specifically towards mining, solving both problems (including environmental) with one stone, the issue with that will be whether any crypto will continue to hold value, or if any vested crypto interests will allow such.

People are using LHR cards to mine other cryptos like ravencoin (which is profitable to mine). Also when ETH2 comes out.... perhaps next year or the year after that.... that mining power will move to ravencoin and ergo networks. These are both profitable.

A boost in supply that hasn't resulted in a normalization of prices....
In this country? Perish the thought of us actually getting the recommended prices. In SA everyone makes their salary in one sale.

I got the MERC 319 RX6800 XT back in Nov last year. Its selling for about 5.5K more than when I bought it ... eish
