I guess if durable enough, could be easier to fit in your pocket - and perhaps prevent (reduce) chance of cracking the screen when you drop it. I'm sure we've all done that before.

No GMS therefore its a no-go in most of the world really.

Huawei's half arsed attempt with their crap doesn't pass muster.

Regardless of the software side though, that P50 Pocket thing looks fugly as hell... a Round screen on the front? Who the hell decided that was a good idea?

And how many of those people buying Huawei phones are totally aware of what GMS is, and how the lack of it can make a phone bloody annoying? I know a few people who have recently got Huawei phones with HMS and they're more than slightly peeved about it because it wasn't actually explained to them in the store at all.

Also the price segment they're playing in is not usually all that tech savvy from my experience.
