hi, we registered a domain name and hosting account through digiserv.biz on friday,
the account was paid on the due date which is the 7th march 2011 (3 days later, because of the weekend) anyways, after the account was paid we sent proof of payment, a copy of deposit slip via email and a while later we tried logging into our account, after several attempts, including password recovery etc, we emailed them and they informed us that the account was blocked because we failed some anti-fraud test, when posting the order. all there responses are similar to this:

Our records indicate that your account has been closed by our Sales Team due to fraud during the sign-up process. You can therefore no longer login to your client area account as your account is no longer active.

Please let us know should you have any additional queries or if we may be of any further assistance.
Keep well and have a lovely day further :-)

Best Regards,

they also mentioned something of MaxMind, i can post all the conversations i had with them including my responses but its kinda lengthy.

whats worst is these guys dont even have a local contact number, and they are a south african business.

they also canceled the order, and still left me to pay for it by failing to notify me that the account is blocked and the order has been cancelled.
im so pissed man,

any suggestions out've this dilemma will be appreciated

These guys:

http://www.digiserv.biz/

Not South african - seems they are based in the UK -do not confuse Rand pricing for being South African....

What payment processor did you use ? or an eft ? did they register the domain ? leave them if they have not - if they have you money pursue

Local is lekker however make sure it is local ;)

did dsee this have you tried it ? a JHB postal address and durban number :?

Emergency Voice-Box Number:
+27 31 916 5389

They are South African, they host locally and in Germany.

I have had a few reseller accounts with them for about 4 years and have had mostly very good service from them. It is annoying that they dont have a phone number, but i have always had a reply to e-mail within a couple of hours.

Strange that they suspended you for suspected fraud - they must have some reason for doing so.

You missed the part where he registered the domain through them, which most probably mean they're holding it ransom and he can't access it at all TO move to a different hosting company

What is your domain name OP? I'll check it out and give you options.

DO NOT use digiserv

The best advice i can possibly give, is NEVER use digiserv, the service is a shocker and they sitting with my money and refuse to answer any communications.
