Big questions over e-toll shutdown remain

When you build a road, someone has to pay for it. Either the user pays or the government.
It should actually be the user or a local government paying as it is not a national road (although they're marked as such).
The only issue is the cost of etoll set-up.

But then again, I have a suspicion people would not pay, even if the toll setup was free of charge.

The largest part of the cost of this project wasn't for the construction though. It's the ridiculous collection fees which sent the public into revolt
