Had to share this.

Been battling with Telkom previously, so much so I was considering switching to MWEB or Web Africa again for a lower speed but uncapped. My thinking was that, seeing as I was getting really bad speeds, why pay for a 10 meg when I can rather get cap instead (or uncapped).

Lately, I have been rather pleasantly surprised. My net has been flying.

I was doing a Battlefield 3 update a few minutes ago and according to the speed indicated, I was hitting 2.23MB/sec.

I did a speed test now and these were my results...

I have to say that I am well impressed.

It seems like they are trying. I know that it can be frustrating and painful at times but ... it eventually pays off. My line no longer resets like it used to either. I have a stable 10meg connection.

Post your router stats, you're line is on more than 10Mb if you're getting those speeds

As grim said, that's not 10Mbps, more like 12Mbps or so. Are you part of the 20/40Mbps trial? Using an ADSL2+ modem, or VDSL modem?

"it seems they are trying" -- dude most people in the country can't even get 4Mbps, and you're getting MORE than 10Mbps, chill out.
